While the overall design of the 2016 Mitsubishi Lancer will remain mostly the same, the automotive brand did recently announce some exciting upgrades to the 2016 version of its compact sedan.
The 2016 Mitsubishi Lancer will feature a new CVT8 transmission to aid in fuel economy and it will also come with new seat fabrics, as well as a redesigned center console with a built-in USB port. Additionally, the new Lancer will be made available with two new color options of Alloy Silver and Diamond White Pearl.
The Lancer will feature a starting MSRP of $17,595 and will be accessible in four unique trims: ES, SE, SEL, and GT.
Standard features for the base ES trim include: FUSE Hands-free Link System, new LED Daytime Running Lights, foglights, and automatic climate control.
“The 2016 Lancer not only looks good with its updated styling, but it drives and performs at a level well beyond its value-oriented price point,” said Don Swearingen, MMNA executive vice president.” The new 2016 Lancer builds upon the legacy of challenging what a compact car can be in terms of design, technology and performance, all at an affordable price.”
