Late last month, the very first batch of 2018 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross compact CUVs arrived here in the U.S., shipped to Port Hueneme on the west coast. Some of those Eclipse Cross models then made the trek across the Rockies and Great Plains until they landed here at Schaumburg Mitsubishi, meaning we, at long last, are proud to offer the brand new 2018 Eclipse Cross on our lot.
We expect the 2018 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross to be an instant hit in the compact CUV segment. Though the segment is highly competitive, the Eclipse Cross brings a fun energy with bright design options, a peppy 1.5-liter direct-injection turbo engine, and cool features such as the available power-sliding panoramic sunroof. And, perfect for Chicago’s cold winters, the new 2018 Eclipse Cross is available with the Super All-Wheel Control system.
Other key features include the 7-inch smartphone link thin display audio with touchpad controller, heated rear seats, the Head-Up Display, and MITSUBISHI CONNECT.
Don Swearingen, executive vice president and chief operating officer, Mitsubishi Motors North America, commented on the Eclipse Cross’ arrival: “2018 represents an exciting next chapter for Mitsubishi Motors, and the all-new Eclipse Cross is a large part of that story. The Eclipse Cross builds on the strong Mitsubishi heritage of automotive performance, technology, and fun-to-drive dynamics revived in a CUV. We’re excited to add the Eclipse Cross to our established CUV lineup and know it will continue to fuel the brands current sales momentum.”
Another all-new vehicle recently joined Mitsubishi’s lineup: the 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV, which is also available at Schaumburg Mitsubishi.
