The new Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV was recently unveiled in Japan with a slight facelift. The Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV upgrades are not as detailed as the new 2016 Outlander’s, but include other unique features.
The 2016 Outlander, as we know, has undergone a major transformation for the new model year. The Outlander PHEV received an update, just not as extensive. New details on the Outlander PHEV include specially designed bumper extensions, side garnish, and a number of other parts that are painted to match the body. The PHEV model will also have optional two-tone 18-inch alloy wheels to choose from.
Inside the hybrid, there are a number of notable changes, including new seating upholstery, brown leather trim, and a new four-spoke design steering wheel. Trendy accent stitching is used on the seats, door trim, and instrument cluster hood.
The PHEV’s plug-in hybrid system received a few upgrades as well. Fuel efficiency and all-electric range were improved, and the engine friction was reduced.
