Cars.com released its list of the most affordable three row crossovers and Mitsubishi not only made the list, it took first place. The 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander, starting at under $23,000, features more than 100 engineering and design improvements for the model year. Even with the improvements, the 2016 model has a lower starting price than the 2015 model.
To determine which crossover is most affordable, Cars.com takes into account the cost to buy, destination fee included, five years of fuel, and residual value after five years. Models that qualify for the list include basic features most drivers expect, like a rearview camera, power driver’s seat, automatic transmission, and Bluetooth connectivity.
“We designed the 2016 Outlander to be an unmatched value in its segment, so it’s no surprise to us that it leads the way on the Cars.com list of most affordable 3-row crossovers,” said Don Swearingen, Mitsubishi Motors North America Executive Vice President. “From its long list of features, to available advanced safety technologies and a new eye-catching design, the seven passenger Outlander is a leader in value and reliability.”
The 2016 Outlander also features advanced safety technology ranging from Forward Collision Mitigation to Adaptive Cruise Control.
We here at Schaumburg Mitsubishi are proud to see that a Mitsubishi Crossover ranks #1 on a most affordable list!
